Big Red Book (BRB) Topical Meeting

The BRB topical meeting concentrates on Steps 1, 2, and 3 to help us identify how alcoholism or family dysfunction from childhood affects our lives today.

We begin our journey out of isolation by breaking the dysfunctional family rules of "don't talk, don't trust, and don't feel."

We choose readings from the BRB to illuminate these childhood effects, encourage honest sharing about our current struggles rooted in the past, and demonstrate how fellowship itself - through talking, trusting and feeling in community - aids us in recognizing a Higher Power and walking a journey of recovery to emotional sobriety.
